    The Covenant

The rainbow covenant, G-ds promise to mankind.
“And I will remember my covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between G-d and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.” Genesis 9:15-16

Oh this is such a beautiful verse Janice. We never see weather like this, and it seems like you don't have to look far to spot it. i'm jealous. Thanks for the inspiration today!

I like both of your cameras. My lame pink $97 Kodak easyshare just fell in the water the other day at the pool. I am thinking of going for the Nikon, it looks amazing!

Thanks Lisa, the Nikon is a great everyday camera. And it's relatively inexpensive.

    Shalom Janice.
Beautiful photo and reminder. I too always think of that verse on seeing a rainbow.
The Lutheran church here has an icon of the rainbow covenant known as the peace icon. See

Interesting what you commented about the Jerusalem light cubes. Yesterday I took a closer look at them during daylight. Each plastic container has a screw top opening on top and a lever to open a tap at the bottom.
