This wrought iron arch announces your arrival to Columbus' Short North.

The Short North is just that, a short walk north of downtown Columbus.

I did a little cropping on the original photo from this mornings "That's My World Tuesday" post.

One advantage to shooting in 3264 m image mode is the ability to clearly zoom in on

objects that may be lost in the picture.

On Memorial Day...

I waited a few minutes for a gust of wind to come along and bring the

stars and stripes to life. As you can see, it was an eerily calm day with

much cloud cover.

Full Moon Columbus, Part 2

I captured the moon again. You can tell the days are getting longer as this photo

shows the remaining minutes of daylight as the moon is rising in the east. Again, I wasn't prepared and shot this with my Nikon L18.*
